About the Role

The Financial Manager: Revenue role is a critical position in our organisation, responsible for driving revenue growth and improving financial efficiency. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and enhance financial systems, processes, and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Propose and implement automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve team productivity
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial systems architecture and integration points with operational and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance to ensure system enhancements align with business needs and compliance requirements
  • Manage and configure Project Accounting settings, including:
  • Setting up basic project and billing configurations
  • Validating and approving timesheets and expense submissions
  • Managing billing rules and revenue recognition processes
  • Customizing billing rules to meet business requirements
  • Handling multi-currency transactions accurately
  • Set up processes for timely invoice submission in line with client requirements
  • Manage and review account reconciliations for accounts receivable, resolve client queries promptly, and ensure collections within agreed terms
  • Collaborate with Principals to prevent overdue accounts and maintain healthy cash flow
  • Review timesheets and expense reports for employees and contractors; reconcile contractor invoices
  • Ensure service provider payments are processed according to agreed terms
  • Manage and review account reconciliations A/P; approve cash disbursement schedules
  • Improve and apply policies and strategies for accounts receivable and payable cycles for efficiency
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance shared services team to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality financial services

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience dealing with consulting billing and/or collections/customer service role
  • Knowledge in Information and IT Systems
  • Understanding of USA GAAP and IFRS Accounting systems (experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system advantageous)
