About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HV Project/Contracts Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of high-voltage (HV) projects, from planning and procurement to execution and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project procurement and execution strategies and plans
  • Implement construction methodologies and installation schedules
  • Manage contract and commercial aspects of projects, including NEC, JBCC, and FIDIC contracts
  • Appoint subcontractors and manage their performance
  • Provide technical leadership for HV designs/installations, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and SCADA interfaces
  • Implement sound HSE, quality, and risk management practices

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (HV)
  • ECSA registration
  • 5-8 years experience in managing the full lifecycle of HV projects (11kV 132kV)
