About the Role
The IAM Specialist will be responsible for designing and enforcing access control models across enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of IAM principles and technologies, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enforce role-based and attribute-based access control models
- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management across enterprise applications
- Implement segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance controls
- Support single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across systems
- Conduct regular audits of user access and roles to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Collaborate with audit, risk and governance teams to remediate findings
- Provide support for IAM-related incidents and requests
- Develop and maintain documentation, including procedures and training materials
- Monitor emerging IAM technologies and recommend enhancements
- Drive automation initiatives for identity lifecycle management
Requirements
- BSc Honours in Information Technology or similar
- 5 years of experience in IAM roles
- Strong knowledge of IAM platforms
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- Formal education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Bachelor’s degree)
