About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead our College’s QCTO HBC program, coordinating teaching and learning experiences for students. As Head of College, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful submission of student files and exam processes, while also providing clinical learning exposure and moderating student assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessor and moderator for HWSTA and QCTO
- Coordinate the teaching and learning of the QCTO HBC program
- Coordinate clinical learning exposure to students between college and clinical areas
- Coordinate the successful submission of QCTO student files and exam process
- Moderate student files when necessary
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current SANC registration
- Post-basic qualification in Nursing Education, Management and community health
- HWSETA and QCTO Moderator Code 8 driver’s license
- Ability to build relationships and work in a team
- Good communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- A minimum of 10 years nursing experience, registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC
- At least 5 years experience in Nursing Education after obtaining the 1-year post-basic qualification in Nursing Education with an Assessor and Moderator qualification
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Post-basic qualification in Nursing Education, Management and community health; HWSETA and QCTO Moderator Code 8 driver’s license; SANC registration
