About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Jira Cloud Adoption Coach / Trainer to support our retail-sector client in their transition from Jira On?Premise to Jira Cloud. As part of this initiative, we need a skilled professional to guide delivery and business teams through the change, ensuring they are comfortable, productive, and using Jira Cloud in a fit?for?purpose way.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide delivery and business teams through the move from Jira On?Premise to Jira Cloud
- Coach users on how to perform their daily activities effectively in Jira Cloud, focusing on practical usage rather than theory
- Explain key functional differences between Jira On?Prem and Jira Cloud
- Support teams in adopting recommended Jira Cloud ways of working aligned to their needs
- Provide hands-on training sessions, walkthroughs, and ad?hoc support
- Act as a point of reassurance and enablement during the transition period
- Advise Jira administrators on best?practice usage and configuration approaches (without assuming admin responsibility)
Requirements
- Strong hands?on experience using Jira Cloud
- Preferably experience with both Jira On?Premise and Jira Cloud
- Proven experience coaching or supporting teams during tool transitions or platform migrations
- Practical, user?focused mindset with the ability to explain tooling concepts clearly
- Comfortable working in a consulting and client?facing environment
