About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician – Extrusion with experience in fast-moving production environments to join our team in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. As an integral part of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our extrusion processes and contributing to production line optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain extrusion equipment
- Conduct production line optimisation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with production staff to achieve production targets
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control procedures
Requirements
- N4 Electrical/Electronic or Millwright qualification
- Red Seal Trade Certificate
- ±5 years experience in a fast-moving production environment
- Proven experience with extrusion processes and production line optimisation
- Good communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: N4 Electrical/Electronic or Millwright qualification; Red Seal Trade Certificate
