About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team as a Remote Support IT Technician in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance to our clients, both remotely and on-site when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote IT support to clients via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Conduct on-site visits to clients’ premises as required
  • Collect and deliver stock to clients’ sites
  • Perform weekly site visits to change backup drives
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions with clients

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. IT, Computer Science)
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT field as a support technician
  • Strong customer service orientation
