About the Role
The Accounts & Administration Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Town that supports the daily financial and administrative tasks of Highland Paving Projects CC. This position plays a vital part in ensuring smooth project and office operations by handling various administrative duties, interacting with clients and suppliers, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and capture transactions
- Assist with reconciliations and maintain accurate records
- Manage documentation, filing, and data entry
- Coordinate office activities, scheduling, and basic procurement support
- Handle incoming calls and queries, supporting customer and supplier communication
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project and office operations
- Prepare basic reports and follow up on outstanding items
- Adhere to company procedures and deadlines
Requirements
- Experience in debtors, creditors, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Pastel Accounting
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
