About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Communications Assistant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our growing brand presence, you will be responsible for managing and growing our online presence, executing email marketing campaigns, and creating engaging content for various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence
  • Execute and optimise email marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and update contact databases and media lists
  • Coordinate and manage content calendars
  • Track and analyse content performance and media exposure
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Proofread and edit English content
  • Write engaging content for blogs and digital platforms
  • Provide general administrative support as required

Requirements

  • Native English speaker with exceptional writing skills (portfolio required)
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong grammar and proofreading ability
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Highly organised, proactive, and reliable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working across diverse cultures and teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R14 000 – R20 000 (depending on experience)
