This is a proactive, people-focused role that calls for confidence, strong communication, and sharp attention to detail.
Duties:
- Create and manage job adverts across platforms including LinkedIn, PNet, Indeed, and social media groups.
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, CV databases, job boards, and social media; identify passive candidates and engage them through tailored outreach.
- Conduct cold calls to introduce roles to passive candidates and assess their interest and fit.
- Screen CVs and conduct telephonic or virtual interviews to assess skills, experience, cultural fit, and motivation; prepare shortlisted candidates for client interviews.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, initiate compliance and vetting processes (references and background checks), and maintain accurate candidate records in Placement Partner (ATS).
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- 2-4 years’ proven experience in a recruitment, sales and marketing, or similar role
- Strong understanding of the recruitment industry with a demonstrated ability to meet targets
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate and confident
- Strong planning, organising, and administrative ability with a project management approach
- Proactive, reliable, and IT literate with good lateral thinking ability
- Sales competent; resilient, accountable, solutions-driven, and a strong team player
