About the Role

PBT Group is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a high-performing data team responsible for building and maintaining the data pipelines behind enterprise Product Health dashboards used across multiple product teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with the ability to design scalable solutions while still being actively involved in engineering and pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Develop and optimise AWS-based data pipelines to support analytics and reporting solutions.
Ensure pipelines are robust, secure, and performance optimised.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to maintain data reliability.

Requirements

Experience
5+ years experience as a Data Engineer working in complex enterprise data environments.
Strong experience designing and developing data pipelines and data platforms.
Ability to think architecturally while remaining hands-on in engineering work.

Technical Skills
Strong SQL and data transformation experience
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
Hands-on experience working with AWS data platforms
Experience with data modelling and data architecture
Exposure to Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools
Understanding of data quality, governance, and best practices
