Job Summary:
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team at a Prestigious School in Cape Town. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the schools annual budget
- Monitor and report on income, expenditure, and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Oversee payroll, supplier payments, and school fees collection
- Manage financial audits and liaise with auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems
- Advise school leadership on financial planning and sustainability
- Supervise finance/admin staff (if applicable)
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in a similar finance role
- Experience managing 23 staff members
- Knowledge of payroll, VAT, PAYE, and related functions
- Experience with cash flow, reporting, and budgeting
- Accounting diploma or degree (CA(SA) or articles not required)
- Familiarity with EdAdmin (preferred), Sage, and general banking software
- Strong candidates from either school or corporate backgrounds considered
- Female candidates preferred, but strong male candidates also welcomed
- Ideally in early 40s, but open to all ages
- Must be able to work onsite in Parklands, Cape Town
- Available to start ASAP
