About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Assistant to join our team at Number Two Piggeries in Cape Town. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR department
- Manage employee records and personnel files
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Excel
- Liaise with employees, management, and external partners as required
Requirements
- Relevant HR-related tertiary qualification
- At least 2 years work experience, ideally in a wholesale/manufacturing environment
- Proven computer literacy with solid email and Excel skills
- Strong organisational skills, accuracy and the ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work under pressure, with good timekeeping
- Excellent communication skills across all levels; Xhosa speaking will be an advantage
- Own reliable transport and willingness to work overtime on weekends and public holidays when required
