About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the manufacturing industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory and driving growth through effective management of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and planning production activities.
- Implementing and maintaining effective stock control procedures.
- Overseeing employee performance and conduct.
- Organizing the factory according to 5S principles.
- Addressing and resolving production-related issues.
- Managing, controlling, and improving Standard Minute Value (SMV).
- Ensuring the production-related aspects of the ERP system are updated and managed.
- Verifying that the production team adheres to health, safety, and quality standards.
- Preparing daily and monthly production reports.
Requirements
- Industrial Engineering degree.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is essential.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability to work shifts when required.
