About the Role

Communicate Finance is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of safe and practical structural solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in concrete and steel design, including the development of safe and practical structural solutions.
  • Understanding of structural analysis principles, including load assessment, structural behaviour, and design checks.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate technical reports to support design decisions and project documentation.
  • Exposure to site inspections, including assessing construction progress, quality control, and design compliance.
  • Involvement in construction support activities, including responding to technical queries and providing engineering solutions during build stages.
  • Proficiency in Prokon for structural modelling, analysis, and design.
  • Experience using Revit for structural modelling and coordinated project documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for producing and reviewing structural drawings.
