Social Media Manager (In-Office) Manage and grow the digital presence for two premium retail and distribution brands. Somerset West, Cape Town | Full-Time (MonFri, Flexible Hours) | R12 000 – R15 000 per month. About Our Client The client consists of two growing brands, one operating as a premium outdoor, optics, and tech retailer, and the other as an importer and distributor of leading global brands. They operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and work closely with premium global brands. They offer flexible working hours within a Monday to Friday structure and provide hands-on involvement in major events and campaigns. The Role: Social Media Manager (In-Office) This is a hands-on, in-office role that requires taking full ownership of the digital presence and social media pipeline from idea to ROI for two distinct brands. The purpose of the role is to manage both content and performance marketing by creating engaging organic posts and optimizing paid campaigns to drive return on investment. The successful candidate will move seamlessly from strategy and execution to data analysis, collaborating closely with internal marketing team members. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute monthly social media strategies and content calendars aligned with business goals across Meta platforms, YouTube, and WhatsApp Channels. Write compelling, brand-aligned captions and create detailed creative briefs for the graphic designer and videographer. Oversee the production and scheduling of reels, static posts, stories, and video content while maintaining consistent brand tone and voice. Plan, execute, and continuously optimize Meta ad campaigns using audience targeting, retargeting, and lookalike audiences. Engage with followers, respond to comments or messages, and manage communities to maintain online brand reputation. Track key metrics including engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI to deliver weekly and monthly performance reports. Support the Marketing Manager with event planning and execution for expos, activations, and broader marketing initiatives. About You 3 years experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role is required. Proven experience managing Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and growing a YouTube channel. Strong understanding of paid social media advertising, campaign execution, and platform algorithms. Proficiency in scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer. Data-driven mindset with strong copywriting ability and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach to tasks. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or outdoor and tactical industries is advantageous. Basic design or video editing skills and experience with AI tools for content creation are preferred. Google Ads or broader digital marketing experience is a plus.
