About the Role
The Upmarket Retail Brand is seeking an experienced Store Manager to manage their team in the Promenade Shopping Centre in Mitchells Plain. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving results to ensure maximum sales, productivity and profit goals through effective leadership, communication, world-class service, talent management, merchandising excellence, and operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and strategically drive results to achieve maximum sales, productivity, and profit goals
- Create a vibrant and energetic store environment
- Motivate teams and develop staff
- Drive turnover to ensure achievement of targets
- Control expenses and manage stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with Company standards
- Develop employee relations, performance management, and other people management skills
Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum of 4 years experience as a Store Manager/Assistant Manager preferably in a high-end fashion/apparel brand environment
- Strong sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Sales-focused with a proven sales track record
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiative
- Knowledge and ability to effectively apply Company strategy/policy/procedure at store level
