Cape Town: Sales & Client Success Associate posted by Ditto Hire

Job Description

Ditto is building recruitment technology for modern staffing firms and hiring teams. Our platform helps recruiters source, engage, manage, and place talent with less admin and more control.

We are growing, and our Sales Director needs someone sharp, organised, and commercially hungry to help keep the sales and client engine moving.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who loves people, loves momentum, and knows how to turn small conversations into real business opportunities.

You will help us warm up prospects, manage lead activity, support existing clients, assist with onboarding, and make sure no opportunity falls through the cracks.

This is not a cold admin job. It is a front-line growth role.

The Role

You will work directly with our Sales Director and leadership team to support new business, account management, client onboarding, and general client service.

Your job is to create momentum. That means starting conversations, following up properly, managing the CRM, helping prospects understand Ditto, keeping clients happy, and making sure our sales process feels smooth, professional, and human.

You will be one of the first people prospects and clients interact with, so your communication, energy, and attention to detail matter.

What You Will be Doing

  • Lead generation and prospecting
  • You will help identify high-quality prospects across LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, industry networks, recruitment agencies, and hiring teams.
  • You will research companies, find the right decision-makers, build lead lists, and help us understand who is worth speaking to.
  • You will also warm up conversations through LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and other channels. The goal is to start smart, relevant, human conversations that lead to demos and sales opportunities.

Sales Support

  • You will support the Sales Director by keeping the pipeline clean, up to date, and moving.
  • This includes logging activity, tracking follow-ups, updating deal stages, preparing notes before demos, scheduling meetings, and making sure every prospect gets the right attention at the right time.
  • You will help turn chaos into structure.

Client Account Management

  • You will help look after existing clients and make sure they feel supported.
  • This includes checking in with clients, helping answer basic questions, escalating issues internally, following up on outstanding items, and making sure clients are getting value from Ditto.
  • You will help maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts over time.

Onboarding Support

  • You will assist new clients during onboarding by helping coordinate setup, training sessions, documentation, follow-ups, and internal handovers.
  • You do not need to be deeply technical, but you must be organised enough to make clients feel like they are in good hands.

CRM and Reporting

  • You will help manage our sales CRM and reporting discipline.
  • That means keeping data clean, tracking activity, updating pipelines, preparing weekly reports, and helping the team understand what is working, what is stuck, and what needs attention.

Who You Are

  • You are confident, warm, and good with people.
  • You can start a conversation without making it weird. You can follow up without sounding desperate. You can be professional without sounding corporate and boring.
  • You are organised, reliable, and proactive. If something is sitting untouched in the pipeline, it bothers you.
  • You are comfortable working across LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, CRM tools, spreadsheets, and calendars.
  • You are not scared of sales. You may not be a closer yet, but you understand that sales is about trust, timing, follow-through, and consistency.
  • You enjoy being client-facing and you take pride in how you represent the company.
  • You want to grow. This role has room to become much bigger for the right person.

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Have experience in sales support, account management, client service, recruitment, customer success, or lead generation.
  • Are confident communicating with business owners, recruiters, managers, and decision-makers.
  • Know your way around LinkedIn and are comfortable starting conversations online.
  • Are naturally organised and good at follow-through.
  • Can write clearly and professionally.
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Are comfortable in a fast-moving company where things change quickly.
  • Want to work closely with leadership and learn how a tech company grows.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have worked in recruitment, staffing, HR tech, SaaS, or B2B sales.
  • Have used Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools.
  • Understand the recruitment industry.
  • Have experience booking demos or managing sales pipelines.
  • Enjoy building relationships and staying close to clients.

Why join Ditto?

  • Ditto is not a slow corporate environment where you disappear into the machine.
  • You will work directly with leadership. You will see how deals are created, managed, closed, onboarded, and grown. You will have real responsibility from day one.
  • This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a serious career in sales, account management, client success, or commercial operations.
  • You will learn fast, work on real deals, and play an important role in helping Ditto grow.

The kind of person we want

  • We want someone polished, switched-on, and commercially curious.
  • Someone who can make prospects feel comfortable, make clients feel looked after, and make the sales team more effective.
  • Someone who brings energy into the room, takes ownership, and gets things done without needing to be chased.
