About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Miner to join our team at Steelpoort, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing blasting operations and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee blasting operations in a trackless mining environment
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and DMRE/MQA standards
- Lead a team of miners to achieve daily targets and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor and report on blasting performance, including accuracy and efficiency
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Competent A & B certificate
- Blasting Certificate (DMRE / MQA Level 3)
- Minimum one-year experience as a Crew Captain
- At least five years of experience in a trackless mining environment
- At least three years of Platinum experience
