About the Role
Our client, a leader in the Paint Manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Management Accounts
- Review Management Accounts including supporting Schedules
- Review Balance Sheet Items and Reconciliations
- Fixed Asset Register
- Review of Fixed Asset Registers
- Audit File Preparation
- Review prepared Audit files
- Budgeting
- Review prepared Budgets for all entities in the Group
- Statutory SARS Submissions
- Review of VAT201, EMP201, SARS enquiries
- Provisional Tax Calculations
- Prepare Provisional Tax Calculations for all Companies in the Group
- Employment Equity/Social and Ethics Companies Act Requirements
- Prepare EE Plans, review previously plan and Report
- Arrange and lead EE Committee Meetings
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act in terms of Social and Ethics requirements
- Rebates and Advertising
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Rebate and Adverting calculations
- Sales Reports
- Update Sales Reports and manage Sales Report Server (DevExpress)
- Analysing Data (including Cost Analysis of material expenses)
- Extract data from SQL Database, analyse and Report to Financial Director
- Operations
- Work closely with the Financial Director with regards to daily operations and requirements
Requirements
- CA (or equivalent)
- 5 – 10 Years Bookkeeping experience
- Computer literate Advanced Excel essential
