About the Role
A leading luxury hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to lead the reservations team and ensure seamless booking operations while maximising revenue and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the reservations team
- Oversee FIT; Group and Event bookings from enquiry through to arrival
- Maintain accurate reservations data and inventory control within Opera Cloud
- Manage rate loading, market codes and allotments for travel agents and companies
- Coordinate group rooming lists, blocks and special requests
- Ensure VIP guest recognition and exceptional service standards
- Monitor team performance and provide training and development
- Communicate availability changes to support revenue optimisation
Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar
- Minimum 5 years reservations experience
- With 2+ years in a leadership role
- Advanced Opera Cloud experience (TARS advantageous)
- Strong understanding of the luxury and inbound travel market
