About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Consultant to join our team of experts in supporting our hospitality software applications. As a key member of our department, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to ensure seamless operation of our software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tickets logged within our ticketing system, in line with our Service Level Agreement.
  • Escalate tickets, as required, to Team Leaders to ensure that resolution is still possible, within the Service Level Agreement, when outside of your abilities.
  • Escalate tickets, as required, to Software providers following the required troubleshooting and testing with detailed logging thereof.
  • Keep up to speed with all release notes across all software applications.
  • Document solutions for Frequently Asked Questions to develop a knowledge base.
  • Personal skill development for each of the team members to ensure that there is continuous growth, individually and for the department.
  • Excellent product knowledge will be used to provide customer education when required.

Requirements

  • A love of investigation and troubleshooting as new experiences will arise frequently.
  • Be enticed by the journey of relationship building and be invigorated when meeting new people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or similar certification in at least one of the following disciplines:
  • Software Engineering
  • Communication
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • People Management
