About the Role

We are seeking a Mine Planner with extensive experience in mine planning within the mining industry, preferably with exposure to both open-pit and underground mining operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mine production plans and schedules
  • Conduct geological and geotechnical assessments to inform mine planning decisions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of mine planning into the overall mining operation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Analyze data to optimize mine performance and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Mine Planning within the Mining Industry
  • Experience in open-pit and/or underground Mining operations
  • Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or related qualification

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License and own Transport required
