About the Role

The Centurion: Container Industry Rentals Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rental services, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain high-quality rentals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run daily rentals production schedules
  • Conduct rental repair inspections
  • Capture and file client damage photos
  • Check key yard-related data on SAP
  • Load rental repair quotations
  • Process and approve rental repair requests
  • Allocate rental containers for delivery
  • Prepare the daily rental feedback report: Project Manager issues report at approximately 15:00
  • Rentals Foreman submits updates by 16:30
  • Complete rental repair quality checks and submit with stamped production order to Project Manager, then forward to LLO
  • Manage stock levels in coordination with the Operations Manager
  • Process sign‑offs for completed rental repair jobs
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the rental yard team
  • Show rental and straight‑sale units to clients
  • Email client damage reports to the Logistics Manager
  • Create Sales Orders for rental repairs
  • Conduct weekly rental counts
  • Perform spot quality‑control checks
  • Complete full monthly rental counts
  • Track and report on monthly rental utilisation

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. A minimum of 3 years experience in rentals administration, fleet coordination, or a similar operational role is required.

Qualifications

A Degree or Diploma in Business or a related field (advantageous) is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

The candidate will receive a basic salary, dependent on the candidate’s needs. An annual bonus of 1-1.5 months’ salary, pro-rated based on start date, will be paid in December. A Super Profit Bonus Scheme, with a maximum payout of three months’ salary, is also available, conditional upon continued employment at the time of payout.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00

Friday: 07:00 – 15:00

Note: The company is closed during “Builders Break” from mid-December until mid-week within the first week of January.
