About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman with strong skills in Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Advanced Steel to join our engineering and detailing team. The successful candidate will produce accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawings for mechanical and structural steel projects, utilizing their expertise to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Inventor, SolidWorks, and Advanced Steel
- Produce fabrication, workshop, and erection drawings
- Develop models for structural steel and mechanical components
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and material take-offs
- Coordinate drawings with engineers, fabricators, and project teams
- Revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in draughting, mechanical, or structural engineering
- Proven experience using Inventor, SolidWorks, and Advanced Steel
- Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering calculations and specifications
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
