A respected FMCG employer is seeking a Millwright to join its Western Cape team. Youll perform maintenance inspections, repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns on packhouse machinery/equipment, as well as water treatment plants. Youll also assist with the planning and execution of a preventative maintenance program. Additional responsibilities will include disassembling, replacing, and reassembling defective or worn mechanical/electrical equipment. We require a Millwright with Matric and preferably an N3 in Engineering Studies as well as relevant trade test (Millwright / Fitter & Turner). Candidates should have good knowledge of the mechanical and electrical workings of machinery / equipment, with 2 – 3 years experience in a production facility or a similar environment.
