Job Description
Responsibilities:

Framework Management: Maintain and enforce the IT governance framework and internal policies.

Committee Leadership: Chair the IT Steering Committee and report performance, risk, and costs to Exco.

Audit & Risk: Ensure audit readiness, track risk remediation, and fulfill all regulatory IT obligations.

Reporting: Review monthly governance packs, including SLA performance, security posture, patch/vulnerability status, and change records.
-
Contract Oversight: Act as the designated Customer Controller and supervisor for all outsourced IT services.

Service Delivery: Enforce SLAs, conduct service reviews, and manage escalations with outsourced partners.

Operational Control: Own the BAU service catalogue and approve all project scopes, upgrades, and non-BAU work.

Lifecycle Management: Oversee transition planning, documentation completeness, and orderly exit handovers.

Financial Control: Own the IT budget, monitor spend vs. budget, and prevent unauthorized cost escalations.

Strategic Alignment: Translate business requirements into actionable IT initiatives and maintain the IT delivery roadmap.

Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between management, employees, and external service providers.
Minimum Requirements:

Required: Matric and a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Governance, or a related field.

Advantageous: Specialized qualifications in IT Governance (e.g., CGEIT, COBIT) or Risk Management.

Minimum: 810 years of experience in IT Governance or Vendor Management.

Sector: Experience within the Financial Services industry is highly preferred
