About the Role
A leading financial services group is seeking a dynamic Regional Manager to oversee its distribution strategy across a key region, driving regional performance, implementing strategic growth initiatives, and enhancing profitability through effective adviser office management.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and drive the national distribution strategy at a regional level
- Grow market share and regional profitability
- Oversee financial advisers to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with industry regulations
- Champion change and foster innovation across adviser offices
- Promote and entrench the company advice process
- Manage operational budgets and control regional expenses
- Build strategic partnerships and expand the business footprint
- Lead recruitment and vesting of adviser offices
- Identify, develop, and retain top talent
- Provide inspirational leadership and effective people management
Requirements
- BCom in Finance or a related qualification
- CFP designation preferred
- Key Individual certification (RE1)
- Extensive experience in the financial services industry, ideally within distribution or brokerage environments
- Strong regulatory, legislative, and compliance understanding
- Proven leadership and management capability
