About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Dairy Manager to join our team at the Cookhouse, where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dairy farm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dairy management and excellent stockmanship skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily dairy farm operations
- Oversee pasture management and ensure optimal grazing conditions
- Maintain accurate records and reports using computer software
- Demonstrate exceptional management skills and lead a team effectively
- Ensure high standards of maintenance and upkeep on the farm
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree (highly advantageous)
- Minimum 5 – 8 years dairy farm management experience
- Minimum 3 years previous pasture management experience
- Dairy Management experience essential
- Computer literate
- Great stockmanship
- Strong record of management skills
- Hard-working, deadline-driven, diligent
- Maintenance orientated (advantageous)
