About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Dairy Manager to join our team at the Cookhouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our dairy farm, ensuring optimal production and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for dairy farming to take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the dairy farm
- Oversee pasture management and maintenance
- Ensure high-quality milk production and processing
- Maintain accurate records and reports using computer systems
- Develop and implement effective management strategies
- Supervise staff and provide guidance and training as needed
Requirements
- Agricultural Diploma or Degree (highly advantageous)
- Minimum 5 – 8 years dairy farm management experience
- Minimum 3 years previous pasture management experience
- Dairy Management experience essential
- Computer literate
- Strong stockmanship skills
- Hard-working, deadline-driven, and diligent
- Maintenance orientated (advantageous)
