About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a disciplined and service-oriented Credit Controller to join a property management team in Johannesburg. This role focuses on the high-volume management of rental collections and tenant relations for a portfolio of approximately 800 units.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively call tenants to request late rental payments and minimize outstanding debt across 800 units.
- Perform daily downloads of bank statements and accurately receipt (capture) tenant payments onto the Property Central system.
- Professionally resolve tenant queries telephonically and face-to-face at the office.
- Frequently liaise with Building Managers to provide detailed arrears reports and identify late payment trends.
- Capture new tenant information onto the system and perform meticulous checks on lease agreements.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Proven experience within the Property/Real Estate sector is essential, particularly regarding rental receipting and tenant relations.
- Systems: Proficiency in Property Central or MRI software is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Solid general computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Attributes: Strong communication skills, a firm but professional approach to collections, and high attention to detail.
