Credit Controller (Property) | Johannesburg Central/Parktown GP Hire Resolve is seeking a disciplined and service-oriented Credit Controller to join a property management team in Johannesburg. This role is focused on the high-volume management of rental collections and tenant relations for a portfolio of approximately 800 units. Key Performance Areas: Collections & Arrears: Proactively call tenants to request late rental payments and minimize outstanding debt across 800 units. Payment Processing: Perform daily downloads of bank statements and accurately receipt (capture) tenant payments onto the Property Central system. Tenant Relations: Professionally resolve tenant queries telephonically and face-to-face at the office. Reporting & Collaboration: Frequently liaise with Building Managers to provide detailed arrears reports and identify late payment trends. Data & Lease Management: Capture new tenant information onto the system and perform meticulous checks on lease agreements. Requirements: Industry Experience: Proven experience within the Property/Real Estate sector is essential, particularly regarding rental receipting and tenant relations. Systems: Proficiency in Property Central or MRI software is highly advantageous. Technical Skills: Solid general computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Attributes: Strong communication skills, a firm but professional approach to collections, and high attention to detail. Location: Ideally based in Johannesburg (central proximity is preferred due to traffic/commute considerations). Bilingual (Afr/Eng) Is preferred Position Details: Work Hours: 08h00 16h00.
