Cookhouse: FARM MANAGER – DAIRY

About the Role

The Cookhouse is seeking an experienced Farm Manager – Dairy to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our dairy farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate data entry into Afikim and 4th Quadrant
• Daily dairy operations
• Daily duties every second weekend
• Helping with seasonal tasks such as calving, planting, and more
• Managing staff and allocating their daily work
• General farm work, plus machinery and irrigation maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years Dairy farming experience
• Pasture management knowledge
• Computer literacy essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and staff management skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to take initiative, while still being willing to take guidance and advice

Qualifications

• Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport essential
