Role Overview

We are seeking a highly capable AI Application Developer with hands-on experience using Rocket AI (or similar AI app builders) to design, build, and deploy production-grade systems. This role is not experimentalit’s execution-focused. You will work directly with our dev team to accelerate delivery of scalable AI-powered tools across internal and client-facing projects.

Key Responsibilities

AI Application Development

• Design and deploy production-ready applications using Rocket AI
• Build AI-powered workflows, automations, and tools aligned with business use cases
• Integrate AI apps with existing systems (APIs, databases, third-party services)
• Optimize prompts, pipelines, and logic for performance and reliability

System Integration & Deployment

• Translate prototypes into stable, scalable production systems
• Implement backend logic where required (Node.js, Python, etc.)
• Manage deployments, versioning, and environment configurations
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and uptime requirements

Collaboration & Team Support

• Work closely with the in-house dev team to support ongoing projects
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing systems
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical planning
• Help upskill team members in AI tooling and best practices

Process & Optimization

• Identify opportunities to automate workflows using AI tools
• Improve efficiency of development cycles using AI-assisted methods
• Maintain documentation for systems, workflows, and integrations

Required Skills & Experience

Core Requirements

• Proven experience building applications with Rocket AI or similar platforms (e.g., Replit AI, Bubble AI, OpenAI integrations, LangChain tools)
• Strong understanding of AI application architecture
• Experience deploying production systems (not just prototypes)

Technical Skills

• Backend development (Python, Node.js, or similar)
• API integration and webhooks
• Database experience (SQL / NoSQL)
• Basic frontend understanding (React or similar is a plus)
• Cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, Firebase, or similar)

AI-Specific Competencies

• Prompt engineering and optimization
• Workflow automation using AI agents
• Understanding of LLM limitations and guardrails
• Ability to design reliable AI-driven user flows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with internal tools or SaaS product development
• Familiarity with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.)
• Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience working in fast-paced delivery teams
