About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Assistant to join our team in Durban. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing delicious food items and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate grill equipment to cook burgers, patties, and other menu items
Assemble burgers with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled safely
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety compliance
Assist with stock rotation and inventory management
Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
