About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team in Pinetown. As a key member of our Workshop department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to our customers while ensuring efficient operations within the workshop. Key Responsibilities
- Provide constructive support to the Workshop Foreman, ensuring effective communication and cooperation within the department.
- Demonstrate exemplary task performance and a high standard of workmanship.
- Manage your workload efficiently and take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of your work.
- Accurately record all hours worked and billed.
- Ensure that all lubricants and parts used are correctly recorded on the job card, following established systems and procedures as directed by management.
- Be adaptable to any process changes and ensure full compliance.
- Record all consumable items used during each job.
- Foster strong, cooperative relationships with the Parts Department.
- Ensure that all work meets or exceeds the minimum quality standards required by the Group.
- Actively participate in all relevant training programs and share newly acquired knowledge with colleagues.
- Take initiative for ongoing personal learning and self-development.

- Matric
- Minimum 5 years commercial workshop experience as a technician
- Code 14 License with valid PDP
- Diesel Trade Test Completed
