About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit & Independent Review Supervisor to join our team in Durban North. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for managing audit teams, overseeing work performed, and ensuring technical compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision & Quality Control: Managing audit teams, overseeing work performed, mentoring trainee accountants, and conducting performance reviews.
- Engagement Execution: Planning, executing, and finalising audits and independent reviews (IRs) within budgets and deadlines.
- Technical Compliance: Ensuring financial statements, management accounts, and audit work comply with IFRS/GAAP and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
- Client Liaison: Managing relationships, interacting with clients to resolve queries, and reporting findings to managers/partners.
Requirements
- B.Com Accounting / B.Compt or B.Com Honours.
- Completed SAICA Articles is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of post-article auditing experience with supervisory capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in CaseWare Working Papers and MS Office.
