About the Role

Simbithi Country Club is seeking a customer-focused and organized Pro Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of our Pro Shop. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, service-driven, and able to maintain efficient stock control while delivering an exceptional member and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Hygiene and cleanliness of the store is maintained at all times.
  • Arrange and displays pro shop inventory.
  • Packing and unpacking inventory.
  • Ensuring the Pro Shop Floor and its fixtures are intact.
  • Setting up displays and creating a visually attractive merchandising experience to guests.
  • Maintains an inventory list of stock and accounts for variances if any.
  • Ensure that the shop is opened and closed on time.
  • Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
  • Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise.
  • Monitors member and guest experience and takes appropriate action to assure the best customer service.
  • Process member reservations for guests of the golf course.
  • Assisting members and guests of golf related enquiries.
  • Aiding guests with tee time registration and managing the daily tee sheet.
  • Assisting corporate/tournament groups where required.
  • Maintenance of member billing and charges.
  • Records on all sales transactions
  • Collects and records daily green fees and cart rentals.
  • Issues receipts for green fees and cart rentals.
  • Reconcile of accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of a day
  • Accounts for shortages if any.

Requirements

  • Matric required
  • Experience on Club Master
  • 2 years experience in the industry
