Job overview:
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team in Durban and oversee the successful execution of multi-disciplinary projects (buildings and townships). As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
Responsibilities:
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead project teams and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project goals are met
- Manage project risks and take proactive measures to mitigate risks
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders
- Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements:
- 8 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to completion
- Bachelors degree in a related field: BEng, BTech etc
- Regsitered as either PrTech, PrEng or PrCPM
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience working on building and township services would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Valid driver’s license
