- Matric.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- CompTIA Network+.
- Google IT Support Professional Certificate.
- MTCNA (Mikrotik Certified Network Associate).
- 3CX Basic Certification.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking basics (IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Remote user support troubleshooting.
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, solution- oriented mindset.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced enviroment.
- Eagerness to learn and upskill.
- Attention to detail.
- Exposure to server administration and cloud systems.
- Basic scripting (PowerShell or Bash-optional).
- Ticketing system or ITSM platform experience (eg. Zoho Desk, Freshservice).
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Set up laptops, workstations, and peripheral devices for new and existing staff.
- Install and configure operating systems and company-approved software.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
- Schedule and perform regular maintenance and software updates.
- Perform minor hardware repairs; raise part/equipment orders for sign-off.
- Provide remote user support and basic troubleshooting assistance.
- Assist in managing Google Workspace users and permissions, Microsoft 365 licenses and PBX system support (3CX extension setup and basic troubleshooting).
- Maintain documentation of technical issues and resolutions using the internal ticketing system.
- Ensure security and privacy of computer systems and maintain endpoint compliance.
- Monitor equipment status and flag shortages or replacements for approval.
- Maintain stable internet connectivity across all company locations by monitoring uptime, troubleshooting connection issues, and escalating persistent disruptions.
- Manage and support networking infrastructure, including LAN cabling, switches, and Wi-Fi solutions, to ensure optimal performance and coverage.
