Job Summary
Well-established retail company based in East London are seeking an experienced and trustworthy applicant to join their dynamic team.
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Grade 12 essential
- Using computer programs & software (SAGE)
- Admin related functions i.e. cash up, filing, receiving cash, reports etc.
- Basic Knowledge of business operating processs
- Knowledge and understanding of Current Campaigns
- Knowledge and understanding of payment types and products i.e. debit cards
- Own transport required
- Must be in possession of a valid Code 8 Drivers License
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILTY:
- Process payments & issue receipts in a professional friendly manner
- Prepare and collate credit notes
- Answering of telephones in a professional, friendly manner and redirecting the call where applicable
- Processing of GRVs / GRS
- Processing of IBTs
- Processing of insurance cover information
- Obtaining authorization of GRV Audit Trail & IBT movement reports before filing
- Ensure all invoices and credit notes are in order and filed
- Ensure all filing is kept up to date
- Preparation of EFT paperwork for authorization
- Uploading of Discovery Insure checks where necessary
- Action POD/Invoices/ Order requests as per DRs department recons
- Reconciliation of discovery units issued & received
- Compiling of reports i.e. unders & overs; receipts; outstandings etc.
- Respond to debtors queries
- Assists in the ordering of staff clothing for the store
- Responsible to keep the admin office and filing area tidy
- General housekeeping (Housekeeping of office area, customer waiting area and overseeing facilities cleaning schedule – ensure cleaning is done as per scheduled done by the manager)
- General Administration duties and ad-hoc projects

- High Attention to detail
- High level of Integrity
- Positive approach to work/relationships
- Must work Saturdays as required and willing to work overtime
- Drivers license or willingness to obtain with 6-12 months
