About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Manager to lead their new Division in East London. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales growth strategy for new and used car sales
- Motivate and lead the sales team to achieve company sales volumes and gross profits
- Motivate and lead the sales team to achieve OEM retail and wholesale sales targets
- Daily activity management
- Daily/weekly calling on customers to build solid relationships
- Maintain strong relationship between business manager and sales team
- Manage Relationship between Meyers Motors and OEM
- Manage OEM Scorecard
- Manage the monthly reports that are required from OEM
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Manage assets to benchmark levels
- Manage vehicle debtors to benchmark
- Maintain high Customer Service Index (CSI) levels
Requirements
- Grade 12/ Matric Certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- 3-5 years automotive sales experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a management or team leader role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent negotiating and closing ability
