Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects from start to finish.
- Drafting and preparing tender documents.
- Generating various reports throughout project phases (Project Inception, Concept and Viability, Design, tender evaluation, progress, financial, close-out, etc).
- Daily management and administration of civil engineering projects.
- Addressing technical inquiries and resolving issues, leading Site and Technical Meetings, and documenting minutes.
- Managing financial aspects of construction contracts.
- Regular communication with professionals and clients.
- Assisting with project safety and environmental compliance during construction.
- Handling general office and project-related administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist.
- Minimum of 3+ years postgraduate experience in civil engineering project planning, design, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Office Project.
- Basic knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, especially ACC, is advantageous.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
