About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a strong and independent Reservations Manager for a luxury game reserve based in the Eastern Cape. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working three days from home and two days from the head office in Port Elizabeth, starting at the beginning of May.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all reservations operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Manage reservation enquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and direct guests
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Supervise reservations team performance and provide guidance where needed
- Monitor bookings, cancellations, and special requests to maximise revenue
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and reservation system data
Requirements
- Proven experience in reservations management within luxury hospitality or safari lodges
- Strong knowledge of reservation systems and processes
- Independent, proactive, and highly organised
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work remotely and manage team performance effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
