About the Role
A growing international engineering, infrastructure and water management solutions business is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Specialist to manage sourcing, inventory, and shipping operations across local and international supply chains. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys building efficient processes and working across procurement, logistics, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement, supplier sourcing, and negotiations
- Oversee inventory levels, stock control, and replenishment planning
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping, including customs documentation and courier management
- Maintain supplier records, item codes, and procurement data within the ERP system
- Support implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Develop and maintain SOPs for procurement, inventory, and logistics processes
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance to support project and production needs
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory, or logistics
- ERP system experience (ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs documentation, and import/export processes
- Strong negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and strong attention to detail
