About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Conference Coordinator to join our team at a luxury lodge in the Waterberg region, Limpopo. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering seamless conference experiences and ensuring all administrative and operational aspects are executed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client enquiries and convert conference enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Coordinate conference setups and ensure all logistical arrangements are in place
- Maintain accurate records and update reports as required
- Liaise effectively with Sales Managers and internal departments
- Prepare function sheets, draft floor plans, and conduct site visits to engage with prospective clients
- Proactively follow up on leads and generate repeat business
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Conference Coordinator role within hospitality or a lodge environment
- Strong sales ability with a track record of converting conference enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- Highly organized with strong administrative capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage bookings, update reports, and maintain client information systems
