About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator: Service Advisor to join our team at Motus Toyota Bedfordview. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of service on an ongoing basis, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating workflow between service advisors, foremen, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the workflow in the service department, ensuring smooth communication with all staff members.
- Update service customers on all service bookings and communicate with them throughout the process.
- Ensure the security of vehicles by locking keys in keysafes and verifying that they are parked outside workshops.
- Assist and advise technicians on quotes in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance to the Controller, Foreman, Service Manager, Service Receptionist, and follow up on parts ordered to workshop.
- Book in vehicles and ensure that all vehicles with specific complaints are test-driven before clients leave the dealership.
- Record and report comebacks, as well as work-in-progress and cash outstanding on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean workspace at all times and adhere to safety standards.
- Sell accessories and additional work, preparing quotations for authorization.
- Follow up on sales not made.
Requirements
- A minimum of Grade 12
- A minimum of 3 years Service Advisor experience is essential
- A Toyota Service Advisor certificate is essential
- Computer literacy is essential
- Clear Criminal Record
- Motor industry experience will be an advantage
