Job Description

Head Sommelier | Luxury Lodge | Sabi Sands Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for a Luxury Lodge in the Sabi Sands that is seeking an experienced Head Sommelier to lead its wine and beverage offering. This senior role is suited to a wine professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of fine dining and luxury lodge service. Key Responsibilities Oversee and develop the lodge’s wine programme and beverage strategy Manage wine procurement, stock control, and cellar organisation Lead, train, and mentor the sommelier and F&B service team Advise guests on premium wine selections and food pairings Maintain exceptional service standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations ✅ Requirements Proven experience as a Head Sommelier or Senior Sommelier within a luxury hospitality environment ️ Excellent food and beverage knowledge, with a strong focus on wine ️ Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills ✨ Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences Package Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience ✨ This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate wine professional to elevate the beverage offering of a world-class luxury lodge in the Sabi Sands .
