About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee our hospitality operations across Gauteng. As a key leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our services while driving business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full operational and profit responsibility for sites across Gauteng
- Ensure SLA compliance while leading a large, diverse workforce
- Develop and execute strategic plans based on financial and technological opportunities
- Set budgets, KPIs, and resource allocation; continuously review progress
- Coordinate procurement, production, field, and technical services
- Build a high-performance culture through recruitment, coaching, and capacity building
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
Requirements
- NQF Level 7 (Degree/Advanced Diploma) Training in Operations
- 5 years managerial experience in the services industry – specifically hotels & events
- Experience managing diverse hotel operations (different hotel types/models)
- Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001, and Risk Management
- Valid SA Driver’s License
