Job Description
About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary at Clinix Health Group Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to patients and contributing to the delivery of high-quality nursing care. You will work closely with Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that meets their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core Standards.
- Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, patient rights and Responsibility charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and other stakeholders by immediately highlighting any safety risks or disasters and calling for assistance from health support and support personnel when necessary.
- Drive a positive patient experience by putting patients first and deliver holistic customer-oriented service.
- Inform and educate patients about the Group’s complaints procedure and The Voice platform.
- Adhere to standards and procedures to reduce wastage and unnecessary costs, and report associated risks to Registered Nurse or Unit Manager as and when these arise.
- Undertake personal professional development through attendance of workshops and in-service training and any other appropriate training including mandatory health and safety training for area of work.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent level of education essential.
- Higher Certificate in Auxiliary nursing.
- Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
- 1 year experience in a Nursing care environment.
- Previous experience in private healthcare advantageous.
- Computer proficiency advantageous.
