About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Birkenstock Gateway. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. If you have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing outstanding customer experiences, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds
- Deliver excellent customer service to every customer following the Birkenstock customer service procedures
- Establish customers’ needs and use technical knowledge to demonstrate benefits
- Close sales and secure add-on sales
- Invite customers to back and turn them into Birkenstock fans
- Monitor daily sales against individual budget every few hours
- Replenish footwear, apparel, and accessories from the storeroom daily
- Minimize shrinkage by zoning the store, acknowledging customers, and following the Birkenstock changing room policy
- Ensure stock entries in the POS systems are accurate
- Process deliveries by checking quantities, invoices, tagging, hanging, and pricing product
- Record customer orders
- Maintain store housekeeping daily, including dusting, cleaning mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, clearing counter area, and tidying change rooms
- Assist the manager with open and closing the store
Requirements
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience
- Birkenstock knowledge advantageous
- Ability to work flexible shifts
