About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at The Talent Room in Gauteng. As an All-Rounder, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, operating the till, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with general shop duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages (barista duties)
- Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with customers
- Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Support team members during busy periods
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety standards
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is essential
- Experience working on a till / POS system
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Trustworthy and reliable
